Mission
We implement community-based programs to advance individual development and learning for life.
What We Do
We bring together people, resources and best practices to address gaps in critically needed life skills, espcially within at-risk communities. Key focus areas include:
- Early childhood interventions for parents and caregivers to lay the foundation in the critical developmental stage for the child's optimal academic, social and emotional health outcomes.
- Health Literacy related to overall physical health with emphasis on nutrition for learning and preventative interventions.
- Financial literacy to develop both personal and business money management skills that enable choices for a fulfilling life.
Who We Are
Literacy & Life is a tax exempt 501(C)3 social benefit enterprise. Our multi-cultural team consists of committed individuals who uniquely blend Nonprofit and Corporate Giving expertise, management experience and business acumen.
